Christine Forge
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, FNP-BC, PMHNP
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I specialize in providing compassionate and individualized care to pre-teens, teens, and adults navigating life's challenges. My clients often face anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, mood disorders, or significant life transitions. Together, we focus on managing symptoms, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering personal growth, with the ultimate goal of enhancing mental health, improving relationships, and achieving a higher quality of life.
With over 35 years of diverse healthcare experience and advanced degrees from Bellin College, South University, and Maryville University, I bring a wealth of knowledge from specialties including ICU, surgical, rehabilitation, and psychiatric care. Having lived in multiple states and being proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), I value creating meaningful connections with clients from all walks of life.
My approach integrates psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and, when needed, brief psychosocial therapy. I take a holistic view of mental health, addressing both psychological and physiological factors to create a well-rounded, personalized treatment plan. A typical plan includes a thorough initial evaluation and collaborative goal-setting, followed by ongoing support to empower clients in their mental health journey.
I understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, but it’s a courageous step. I am here to provide a supportive, empathetic, and respectful environment where your voice is heard and your treatment is tailored to your unique needs. Let’s work together to navigate life’s challenges and celebrate your progress as you move toward a brighter, more balanced future.
